We also focus on eco-conscious initiatives, such as developing a condensing unit that uses CO2 refrigerant with low global warming potential, a first in Japan. We will contribute to further energy and labor savings in-store management through combinations of the products and solutions such as the S-cubo remote data service.

We provide low and medium-temperature display cases and condensing units to meet diverse needs, ranging from large supermarket chains unique to the U.S. and region-based medium-scale supermarkets to smaller stores like drugstores and convenience stores.
Also in the U.S., environmental regulations are becoming stricter. We have expanded our product lineup with new offerings that use natural refrigerants like CO2 and propane, as well as new condensing units utilizing CO2 refrigerant, incorporating Panasonic's technologies.
The Store Connect remote monitoring service is highly refined. It can detect refrigerant leaks, and when an abnormality is identified, Hussmann's service staff promptly visit the site to resolve the problem.
OceaniaWe offer excellent design products under the Hussmann brand.
We provide Hussmann brand low and medium-temperature display cases in Australia and New Zealand. In supermarkets in this area, customers prefer matte-finish stainless steel display cases as well as those with spacious displays to facilitate consumers in picking up food. In response, we offer a wide range of design-centric products. With consideration for the environment and energy conservation, natural refrigerant and closed-type glass-door display cases have become the mainstream. Additionally, in the Oceania region, smaller stores, such as convenience stores, are increasingly common. We are also committed to promoting energy conservation by recommending energy-efficient systems optimally tailored to store sizes. In New Zealand, our business encompasses construction and service work of display cases and commercial air conditioning equipment, providing one-stop solutions to customers.
Southeast AsiaWe are focusing on professional kitchen equipment in addition to low and medium-temperature display cases for convenience stores.
We offer low and medium-temperature display cases aimed at the rapidly growing region-based small-scale supermarkets and large convenience stores in Southeast Asia. In addition, we are expanding our business of professional kitchen equipment, including commercial freezers, refrigerators, and ice makers, focusing on Japanese-affiliated customers and local restaurants.
EuropeWe are accelerating the development of our business across Europe from our newly established site.
In Europe, a region proactive in implementing environmental measures, the use of HFC refrigerants, which have greenhouse effects, is restricted, resulting in a growing demand for condensing units that use CO2 refrigerants with low global warming potential. In 2024, the Cold Chain Solutions Company acquired Area Cooling Solutions, a Polish condensing unit manufacturer, to strengthen its presence in Europe. The company started business as Panasonic Cold Chain Poland Sp. z o.o. and is developing and manufacturing HFC-free condensing units using CO2 refrigerant. We are promoting the Panasonic brand across Europe by focusing on eco-conscious products.
